I visited a USN cruiser last month and saw the applications sailors use to do their daily work keeping the ship working. It made me angry.

Sailors need heroics to use their software tools just to do daily maintence to keep ships afloat tied to the pier. Imagine if someone was shooting at them.

The companies who work this way put the nation at risk.
